CORRECT POSTURE, POOR POSTURE

Right is the correct posture whose spine forms natural S-curve (A), pelvis tilts forward (B) and knee isn't pushed forward (B). Left is the inverse of it. These are some important points of  difference between correct posture and poor posture.

These hitters' batting stance has the problems that I described above. It is necessary to note that those problems potentially cause some diseases related to knee joint or lower back.

Bryce harper is at the risk of knee or back injury.

Jeff Bagwell's batting stance had fulfilled those rules and that is why he succeeded in spite of such a tough batting stance.

RHYTHM

Because the automatic step mechanics starts suddenly and directly from batting stance, it often fall into the poor mechanics which lacks the rhythm and flexibility. So rocking or wobbling motion in the batting stance is important and it will enable the hitter to keep flexibility. I give some good examples of it here.

Alex Rodriguez

Russ Canzler

Jonny Gomes

Ken Griffey Jr.

This rhythm motion includes weight shift, bat's circular move and stamping motion of the front foot.  But putting an emphasis on partial motion will result in losing a sight of the essence. The core or essence of the rhythm motion is the weight shift between the right and left side of the whole body. Bat's move and stamping motion are just the byproducts of the weight shift.
