PREFACE

Learn From World Players

Nice to meet you every one visiting my blog. I,m Japanese and studying baseball mechanics. I'll write a book on baseball mechanics in English someday, maybe two or three years later. So I'd like to introduce my theory here as the preview of it. Well, let me start off.

Baseball swing mechanics can be classified into two types based on its acceleration system and that classification method also means new and old. Here are the movies of those two types which I named puncher type and swinger type.

puncher type
Japanese title: Puncher type; quickly delivering the barrel to the point of contact

swinger type
Japanese title: Swinger type; making a delay of the bat-head to accelerate it efficiently

This classification method will cover 'linear or rotational method' and take the place of it. I hope my method will be recognized as a common understanding among baseball players and coaches.

Since this blog will be wrote in column format and I don't intend to write a lengthy paper, please take it easy and share the fun of talking about baseball skills.
