Justin Morneau

player details

Everyone says that "Morneau is a solid" player and  I agree with them. Though I don't look carefully about his fielding skills, above can especially be said for his hitting skills.

Jake Peavy

player details

Though he is frequently using two seamer in this clip, his rich arsenal with various pitches is so threatening that most hitters should be kept guessing and off balanced at all time.

Johnny Cueto

player details

The orbit of his fastball is similar to Pedro Martinez' it. Don't you think so?

Brandon Belt

Player Details

San francisco Giants should not release him because he is one of a few left handed power hitters who can launch a splash hit in the world after Barry Bonds.

Mark Trumbo

player details

His hitting skills are mature for his age. The way I see it, he is a sophisticated Troy Glaus, a former Angels' standout.

Gio Gonzalez

Player Details

His pitching style, which includes straight ahead four seam fastball and big curve ball, is comparatively classic for today's baseball scene. It might be said that his pitching style looks like a cross between Barry Zito and CC Sabathia. I mean, he frequently uses slider and does not depend on curve ball as much as Barry Zito.

Justin Upton

player details

Justin Upton, the right handed hitter who has logged 135 home runs by the end of 2013 season, is an absolute power hitter. His power stroke reminds me of Mike Tyson's hard punch. He probably  is one of the five or ten most powerful hitters in present major league.

Doug Fister

player details

I like his two seam fastball and curve ball, but even so, I really surprised that he has been transferred to Washington Nationals. If he had stayed at Tigers, they would be able to keep the gorgeous pitching staffs.

Two yankee stars

Joe Dimaggio

                   Derek Jeter

Although they both are Yankee Stars represent their each age, their swings are absolutely different. I think Derek Jeter brought up an epoch-making swing mechanics that has a characteristic of bringing sweet spot to contact point so quickly.

Kihachi Enomoto

swing from about 0.40

This is Kihachi Enomoto a legendary hitter in Japanese professional baseball. Surprisingly, at this time, he already shows us a modern hitting mechanics that is applicable to the present day's sluggers like Jason Giambi, Fred McGriff or Justin Morneau. In addition, more interestingly than it, he acquired his hitting technic through learning Aikido, which is Japanese traditional martial arts. For instance, he often was lost in meditation in dugout. His hitting mechanics looks just like an art having beauty of simpleness.
